Here is the pattern for my leftovers dishcloth .
worsted weight cotton-3 different colors
size #3 needles
co 29 stitches with yarn you have the most yardage (yarn 1)
knit 4 rows
change to new color (yarn 2)-do not cut any yarn-just carry it up the side
row 1 k1, p1 (repeat to end)
row 2 p1, k1 (repeat to end)
change to new color (yarn 3)
repeat row 1&2
change back to (yarn 1)
repeat row 1&2
repeat unil you are about to use yarn 1 for the 8th time and instead of k1,p1-
knit 4 rows
bind off

Just reminding folks that there is an error noted on Ravelry. All rows except the first and last few are “knit 1, Purl 1”.
